Our second conservation area lies to the east of Namibia. Here, in the heart of Africa, Okambara and its 15,000 hectares of untouched nature are found — typical of the eastern edge of Namibia's great Escarpment, where it merges with the Kalahari in a landscape dominated by contrasts of savanna and mountains.
Great herds of giraffe and gemsbok populate the vast savannas, having increased undisturbed over the past decades. Elephant, rhinos, leopards and cheetah can be encountered during your stay. With the mountains behind, the gaze wanders across the pristine landscape in the evening — the impression of herds of zebra and oryx at sunset will last a lifetime.
Your African desert dream hunt becomes true here. More than any other hunting area, Mount Valley sets an example in conservation — its 21,000 hectares are there for nature. Thousands of gemsbok and springbok roam, while leopards, spotted hyena, cheetahs and even lions pass through.
