You will arrive at Hosea Kutako International (WDH). From Germany, a direct flight from Frankfurt is offered by Eurowings Discover. Travellers from other countries can fly to South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town) and take a connection; KLM flies from Amsterdam. From the USA you can reach Namibia with Qatar via Doha, or with Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa.
All tourists must hold a passport valid for at least six months after your intended departure from Namibia, with at least two blank pages for visa stamps — more if travelling with stops in between. We recommend carrying a copy of your passport and another form of identification (ID or driver's licence).
Travel Express is a travel agent company that will help you find a suitable flight and assist with all information about the transport of your firearm. We highly recommend working with Travel Express because of their experience assisting hunting tourists.
If you need medical help during your stay, we will make sure you receive good service at a private hospital in Windhoek. All of our hunting areas (except the Sambesi region) are malaria-free; please consult your doctor about malaria medication. No vaccinations or health certificates are needed to enter Namibia — contact your doctor for detailed advice.

The national currency is the Namibia Dollar (N$), linked to the South African Rand; both are accepted throughout Namibia. We recommend bringing cash (US$ or Euro) and debit/credit cards — most shops and hotels accept Visa or American Express. Inform your bank before departure. You can draw N$ at ATMs or exchange at a bureau de change. Safari deposits are not refundable.
There is free WiFi in all of our lodges (except Mount Valley — Namib Desert). The international dialling code of Namibia is +264. Electricity is available in all lodges, with both the Namibia electrical outlet and the Euro electrical outlet provided.
All pieces of luggage — including your gun case — should have a name tag with your contact details. Follow your airline's luggage guidelines to avoid overweight or oversize charges. For the transport of weapons you need an airline-approved lockable hard gun or bow case. Always carry your passport, a copy, insurance and rifle documents, cash, cards and electronics in your hand luggage.
To reach the lodges you don't need to rent a car — we welcome you at the airport and bring you to the lodge. If you'd like to travel through Namibia on your own, we recommend Asco Car Hire (ascocarhire.com), Avis (avis.co.za) or Europcar (europcar.com). It is generally safe to travel through Namibia, the roads are well maintained, and you'll enjoy an unforgettable journey.
